Cookie Policy
This Cookie Notice describes what kinds of cookies and similar technologies abda uses in connection with our Services (as defined in our Privacy Policy), and how you can manage them.
Types of cookies
Cookies are small text files that may be placed on your device when you interact with online services. Cookies can help services remember information about your visit, such as your language settings or when you logged in, which can improve your experience when you revisit a website. They can also be used for other purposes, such as helping online services troubleshoot errors and better understanding how their services are being used. Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies. We also use third-party cookies - which are cookies from a domain different from the domain of the website you are visiting. Similar technologies, such as pixels, web beacons, or local storage, can also be used for these purposes. We use "cookies" to refer to cookies and similar technologies.
Essential cookies
These cookies are required to operate our Services. For example, they allow us to authenticate users or enable specific features within the Services, including for security purposes.
| Source | Cookie / Storage | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| abda | abda_consent | 365 days | Consent preferences cookie |
Analytics and Performance cookies
These cookies help us analyze and understand how our Services perform and are used, such as the number of users, and how they interact with our Services.
Some of these tools also provide session replay and heatmaps — they record interactions such as mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks, with the content you enter into form fields masked (and, in our application, on-screen text masked as well), to help us diagnose usability issues. In the United States these analytics and session-replay technologies are enabled by default and you may opt out at any time (including via Global Privacy Control or the "Analytics" category under "Manage Cookie Preferences" above); in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland we load them only with your prior consent.
| Source | Cookie name | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | _ga | 13 months | Distinguish unique users and calculate visitor statistics |
| Google Analytics | _ga_* | 13 months | Google Analytics 4 session state and persistence (one per property, e.g. _ga_XXXXXXXXXX) |
| PostHog | ph_*_posthog | 1 year | Product analytics and user behavior tracking |
| Microsoft Clarity | _clck, _clsk | 1 year / Session | Session recording, heatmaps, and performance analytics |
Marketing cookies
These cookies help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising. abda uses Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) conversion cookies for conversion tracking and campaign measurement — for example, to recognize when a visit that began with one of our ads later results in a sign-up, so we can attribute that conversion and optimize our campaigns. We do not use these cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
| Source | Cookie name | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Ads | _gcl_au | 90 days | Conversion linker — stores ad-click information so ad-driven conversions can be measured |
| Google Ads | _gcl_aw, _gcl_gb, _gcl_dc | 90 days | Store Google ad-click identifiers (gclid/gbraid) when you arrive from a Google ad, used to attribute conversions |
| Google / DoubleClick | test_cookie | ~15 minutes | Set by Google to check whether your browser supports cookies before serving ad-measurement tags |
| Microsoft Advertising | _uetsid, _uetvid | 1 day / 13 months | Universal Event Tracking (UET) session and visitor identifiers, used to attribute conversions from Microsoft/Bing ads across your visit |
| Microsoft Advertising | _uetmsclkid | ~90 days | Stores the Microsoft ad-click ID (MSCLKID) when you arrive from a Microsoft/Bing ad, used to attribute the conversion |
| Microsoft Advertising | MUID | 13 months | Microsoft identifier used to recognize your browser across sites for conversion measurement and analytics |
Separately from cookies, when you arrive from a Google ad we also transmit the ad-click identifier and a coarse measure of your activity's value to Google Ads from our servers (server-side conversion measurement); disabling cookies does not stop this server-side measurement. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) and similar U.S. state privacy laws, this sharing of advertising identifiers is a "share" for cross-context behavioral advertising. We obtain your prior consent for these cookies and this sharing in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and in the United States you can opt out at any time by enabling Global Privacy Control or through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. You can also manage marketing cookies using the "Advertising" category under "Manage Cookie Preferences" above. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
