How to export your data
Go to Settings → Privacy & Data → Download my data. You'll get a JSON file with your profile info, your My Profile answers and finance questionnaire answers (if any), and basic account metadata.

Sign in at app.abda.ai.

Open Settings from the menu.

Go to Privacy & Data.

Click Download my data.

Wait for the request to finish. The JSON file downloads in your browser.
Your data belongs to you. You can download a copy anytime.
What's in the export
- Profile — email, first and last name, profile photo URL and appearance preference (if saved), account status and type, whether your email is verified, when you created the account, your last sign-in time and location, and where you signed up from
- My Profile answers (if you've filled it in) — the answers you gave to the profile questions that match you with surveys
- Finance questionnaire answers (if you have any) — your saved answers, the questions and topics they belong to, and the dates you created and last updated them
- Account metadata — your account status and type, plus whether the account has been marked removed
- Export timestamp — when the file was generated
What's not included (yet)
- Bank connections, transactions, budgets, goals, AI chats, and offers history — these aren't part of the downloadable export today. Email support@abda.ai if you need a copy and we'll help.
- Bank passwords — we never see or store them, so there's nothing to export
- Card numbers or routing numbers — we don't collect this info
Tips
- Export regularly if you want your own backup — monthly is a good rhythm
- The JSON file opens in any text editor; apps like VS Code pretty-print it so it's easy to read

Does exporting delete my data?
No. Exporting just gives you a copy. Your account stays exactly the same. To delete, see the account deletion guide.
Will I get an email?
No. The JSON file downloads directly in your browser after the request finishes.
What if the download fails?
Settings shows an error if the request fails. Try Download my data again. Contact support@abda.ai if it keeps failing.
Can I open the JSON file without a developer tool?
Yes. Any text editor will open it. For a nicer read, drag it into VS Code or an online JSON viewer — they'll format it with indentation and syntax highlighting.
