How does billing work?
abda's core features are free. The only paid part is AI: Ask AI and Topic Builder run on credits at $1 each, and you buy only what you use. There's no subscription. Payments go through Stripe.

You get 3 free credits when you sign up. After that, AI features cost 1 credit ($1) each and you top up only when you want more.
How you pay
All payments go through Stripe, the same service used by Amazon, Shopify, and Lyft. abda never sees or stores your card number. When you buy credits, Stripe handles the card entry, the charge, and the receipt.
What a credit pays for
One credit covers one new Ask AI conversation or one Topic Builder question. Follow-up questions in the same conversation are free. See What are credits? for the full breakdown.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Using abda needs no card. You add one only when you choose to buy AI credits.
Is there a subscription or monthly fee?
No. There's no recurring charge. You pay only when you buy credits, and only for what you use.
Do credits expire?
Your 3 free credits never expire. Purchased credits last one year from the date you buy them. See What are credits? for details.
Are there refunds?
If something goes wrong or you change your mind, email support@abda.ai and we'll work it out.
